Early Works

Hayao Miyazaki began his career in the animation industry in the 1960s, working on various projects for Toei Animation. Some of his early notable works include Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro (1979) and Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984).

Studio Ghibli

In 1985, Miyazaki co-founded Studio Ghibli, an animation studio that has produced some of the most iconic and critically acclaimed anime films of all time. His works with Studio Ghibli include:

  • Kiki's Delivery Service (1989)
  • Princess Mononoke (1997)
